CAISA Fashion Show
Designer Recruitment
CONTEXT
The poster was designed for the CAISA Fashion Show to recruit student fashion designers from Ryerson University. As this was the first year that such an initiative took place, any applications were deemed useful to the cause.

CREATIVE CONCEPT
The poster’s design followed the concept of a show, at its most basic form, being comprised of various elements, such as music, choreography, and fashion. These were abstractly represented by shapes, like the circle and triangles on the poster. The photo followed the literal concept of the show’s logo, of being in the spotlight. This recruitment poster offered selected designers the opportunity to showcase their work and put their skills in the spotlight.

PROMOTIONAL RESULTS
The poster was successful in gathering the interest of over 50 student applications, and the clothing team on the CAISA Fashion Show executive team was able to select a number of student designed outfits for the show.
